The two multi-media artists explore bugs and dams in a joint show at the Overture Center, up through September 1.

Jacki Whisenant describes the overarching theme of Not To Scale, her joint show with fellow artist Rob Lundberg, as “thinking about the environment on a larger and smaller scale.” On display through September 1 at the Overture Center’s Gallery III, the show combines Whisenant’s illustrated and cut-paper depictions of aquatic insects with Lundberg’s mutli-media explorations of water infrastructure.

Whisenant and Lundberg spoke recently with Tone Madison contributor Phoebe Schlough about how they combine art and science to explore the natural world and humanity’s relationship with it.
