Part of the UW Cinematheque‘s fall 2015 calendar has been announced, namely the program’s customary run of Sunday screenings at the Chazen Museum of Art. Those screenings begin September 6 with Stanley Kubrick’s brilliant nuclear-war satire Dr. Strangelove; other highlights include Brian DePalma’s bizarro Phantom Of The Opera adaptation Phantom Of The Paradise (October 18), Nicholas Ray’s 1952 drama The Lusty Men(November 1), and the 1951 thriller The Prowler (December 6). The rest of the fall calendar should be out by August 17, the Ctek folks tell us. Info
