Jenny Fierro is a current graduate student at UW-Madison with an overarching interest in feminist scholarship and community activism. In another life, she was a domestic violence advocate and as a result, centers rage in her writing rituals and practices. Influenced by tejana theorist Gloria Anzaldúa, she hopes to continue writing anger into her work; after all, “vale la pena.”
