Jake Schlachter

Jake Schlachter (jake@weown.it) is the son of two Episcopal priests who followed them on a vocation of democratic organizing and holy hellraising. He is founder and executive director of We Own It, where he is blessed to help grow the movement of cooperative and credit union members organizing for ownership and justice in their democratically-owned businesses. He is also co-founder and lead organizer of the new national Banking with Justice initiative, Justice.coop. He lives in Madison with his wife and two young daughters.
