Podcast short: A Print & Resist haul

We share some finds from Madison’s annual celebration of zines and radical print culture.

Madison’s Print & Resist festival returned to the Central Library on Saturday, April 13, which means Tone Madison editor Scott Gordon went and spent too much money on zines, stickers, books, and other fun works of print media. We sat down this week to talk about the haul. The goods include Lauden Nute‘s official Print & Resist poster, a drawing by Madison artist Michael Ward, the latest edition of John Porcellino’s beloved King-Cat Comics series, a small piece of framed wallpaper from Madison conceptual art collective Spooky Boobs, a “jazzy shrimp” sticker by Rachal Duggan, three small books by PM Press.

Note: We ran out of recording time and didn’t manage to talk about two other great things in Scott’s bag, the immersive Bluescale zine by Chicago artist Kaitlin Kostus and the Southern recipe collection Foodwise by Aaron Walker.
