Tie-dye some Soggy T-shirts (and other things) with us at Communication on July 16

And for the less tie-dye-inclined, the Cursed Soggy shirt is back in festive summer colors.
A photo-illustration shows assorted tie-dyed clothing items hanging along a wooden fence. A wavy pink shape runs laterally across the image.

And for the less tie-dye-inclined, the Cursed Soggy shirt is back in festive summer colors.

Back in 2021, our misbegotten Cursed Soggy shirt became an unexpected summer fashion sensation, prompted a lot of “I’m not going out with you in public if you wear that thing” conversations, and raised about $1,300 to support independent media. This year we are marching back into these mean sartorial streets with gusto, and there are two ways you can join us:

On Saturday, July 16, we’re teaming up with Communication and artist Emily Popp to hold a tie-dye workshop, as part of Communication’s fourth anniversary celebration. Attendees will need to register ahead of time via Communication’s website. There are a few registration options: You can reserve a white Soggy shirt, reserve a white Communication T-shirt designed by Darahnea Moua, or register to bring an item of your own for tie-dyeing. (Please, please register ahead of time—it’ll help us make sure we have enough shirts on hand for everyone.)

We’re also putting the Cursed Soggy Shirt up for sale again, this time in festive new colors for summer, plus the classic white for those who still prefer that.
