A brief appreciation of Comedy Club on State manager Joe Buettner’s pre-show spiel.
Recently I followed a guy named Joe Buettner into a cramped room in the back of the Comedy Club on State. I wanted to document the pre-show talk Buettner gives in his role as a manager at the club, because it actually adds a charming note to the shows there. It’s a little grace note that deserves to be documented, so here it is.
