Podcast: Our favorite podcast moments of 2016

Conversations about Internet shaming, hashtags, and dear departed Jazzcat.

Conversations about Internet shaming, hashtags, and dear departed Jazzcat.

We’re wrapping up our second full year of producing Madison’s only weekly music and culture podcast here at Tone Madison, and I’m grateful to everyone who’s listened and everyone who’s taken the time to contribute. For the final episode of 2016, I’d like to look back on some of the podcast’s finest/weirdest/funniest moments of the past year.

Tireless producer Dylan Brogan and I picked a few excerpts to revisit, including a discussion of the disastrous Jazzcat incident, an interview with The Smart Studios Story director Wendy Schneider, and a panel discussion about harassment in Madison’s nightlife. Give it a listen below, and don’t forget that you can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes. I hope you all have a lovely holiday season, and I look forward to talking with you more in 2017.

Help us create fiercely independent politics coverage that tracks power and policy across Wisconsin and the Madison area.
