Building off our successful weekly podcast collaboration with the WORT-FM news team, we’re launching a new series of live podcast events, The Tone Cluster, in partnership with WORT and MadCity Music Exchange. They’ll take place once a month at the High Noon Saloon, beginning Tuesday, October 20 from 6 to 8 p.m.

We’ll get the actual discussion going around 6:30, with help from guests Lindsay Christians, Mike Martez Johnson, Andre Darlington, and Chris Lay. We’ll be talking about the changing nature of downtown Madison, through the lens of beer bars, public art, and socioeconomic divides. It’ll be a bit different from a typical panel discussion—think of it as a different way of telling a bigger story about culture in Madison, which is what we’re all about.

Before and after the discussion, we’ll be spinning music by Madison artists and welcoming community members to enjoy drinks and conversation.
