Pleasure Practices: An Email Course

A six-part email course featuring the best of Dr. Sami Schalk’s monthly Pleasure Practices column.

With everything going on in the world, it can be difficult to find joy from day to day. In Pleasure Practices, Dr. Sami Schalk shares how to be attentive to your needs, care for your inner child, and lean into moments of unabashed “yes” so you can create a life that excites you. You’ll read about food, onesies, and plants — and how we can practice pleasure as a means of emotional survival.

When you sign up for our Pleasure Practices email course, we’ll send you a select piece of Sami’s writing. Over the next six days, we’ll bring you great moments from a column that has serious things to say about healing, feeling, and capitalism — and does it all with defiant, unabashed joy.
